Dilshad speaks with this wonderful couple who have studied music with Ustad
Sultan Khan.Falu is widely recognized for a rare ability to seamlessly blend a signature modern inventive rock style with a formidable Indian classically-shaped vocal talent.Falu is serving as one of Carnegie Hall's Musical Ambassadors to New York City.In May of 2006 she became the youngest South Asian vocalist to deliver a solo performance at Carnegie Hall (Zankel). Also in 2006 she joined the Born Into Brothels Ensemble (from the Academy-Award winning film), and in 2007 she collaborated with Wyclef Jean, lending her distinctive vocal style to the score of Angelina Jolie's directorial debut A Place in Time.Listen to the beautiful clips and enjoy the glimpse of the CD made by the lovely couple where Gaurav the intelligent oncologist has done some mind blowing compositions!!!

Dilshad is an Educational Consultant and independent producer and host for South Asian media without borders...She has a Masters in Instructional Design and Media from Columbia University. Currently as a social researcher in her doctorate program
she produces and hosts two radio shows and one Web TV production for South Asians.
She Says...

My idea of life is ...that we should not measure it by the breaths we take but by the moments it takes our breath away!!!!
We are always young if we think that young means to take care of our bodies and mind and as you know that life brings many opportunities as well as dilemas at various points in our lives ..so just do what your heart tells you sometimes and enjoy the rhythm of happiness that comes with spontaniety...I love to observe people and I can't stand people who tend to be artificial in their dispositions and emotions..As a doctorate fellowship candidate I often enjoy
the opportunity to deliver workshops at local and national level and I firmly believe in the spirit of volunteerism!!!
'Zindagi show' is the true expression of my conviction.The show started from Dallas and became the first nationally aired desi show in more than 10 cities across US.
It combines cutting edge research and cultural values and helps immigrants around the world to adjust in their new societies and be productive members.
